Washington, D.C (US), April 10, 2026: Melania Trump has strongly denied any association with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, dismissing circulating images and reports linking her to him as “completely false.”
In a public statement, the First Lady said she had “never been friends” with Epstein or his associates, clarifying that any overlap was limited to attending the same social events in places like New York City and Palm Beach. She emphasised that such interactions were incidental and did not amount to any personal relationship.
Melania further asserted that her name has never appeared in legal records related to Epstein, including court documents, depositions, victim testimonies, or FBI interviews.
She urged the public to be cautious about misinformation, noting that manipulated images and fabricated narratives have been circulating online for years.
The statement marks her most direct response yet to the allegations, which she described as “mean-spirited” and politically motivated. She has previously taken legal action against attempts to link her to Epstein.
Epstein, who faced federal sex trafficking charges in 2019, died by suicide in prison while awaiting trial.
