Washington DC [US], January 31, 2026, BNN Web Staff: Fresh controversy has surfaced around Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates following the release of millions of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein by the US Department of Justice.

According to media reports, Epstein claimed in July 2013 that Gates had asked one of his advisers to help procure medication to treat sexually transmitted diseases. These assertions have re-emerged after approximately 3.5 million pages of Epstein-related files were made public on Friday (local time).

A spokesperson for Bill Gates has categorically denied the allegations, describing them as “absolutely absurd and completely false,” reiterating an earlier denial issued when the claims first surfaced.

The allegations reportedly appear in a draft statement written by Epstein, in which he posed as Gates’ longtime science adviser, Boris Nikolic.

The draft was allegedly intended to announce Nikolic’s departure from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In the document, Epstein made a series of unverified and explicit claims, accusing Gates of personal misconduct and alleging that Nikolic had facilitated various inappropriate activities.

Media reports further state that Epstein also accused Nikolic of attempting to conceal information to protect Gates’ public image. The draft reportedly included references to private communications and alleged attempts to suppress sensitive information amid concerns of personal and professional fallout.

Separately, previous reports have alleged that Epstein threatened to expose Gates’ alleged relationship with a Russian bridge player in 2017, purportedly after Gates declined to participate in a charitable fund linked to Epstein. Gates has not publicly commented on those claims beyond earlier denials issued through his representatives.

No evidence substantiating Epstein’s claims has been presented, and the Gates spokesperson has maintained that the allegations are baseless.
