Punjabi truck driver dies of heart attack in US

California (US): A tragic incident has come to light from the U.S. state of California, where Punjabi truck driver Lakhwinder Singh (Happy) passed away due to a heart attack.

According to available information, the deceased, Lakhwinder Singh, son of Boota Singh and a resident of Bhaika village, had gone to California about 11 years ago on a work permit.

He had been driving a trailer there, working hard to fulfill his dream of improving his family’s life back home. However, fate had other plans.

His elder brother, Rajinderpal Singh Bhaika, shared that on November 5, their aunt Jaswinder Kaur, who lives in California, called to inform them about the tragic news.

She said that Lakhwinder returned home from work around 1:30 a.m. and went to sleep. When family members tried to wake him in the morning, he was found unresponsive. Doctors later confirmed that he had died of a heart attack.

The sudden demise of Lakhwinder Singh has cast a wave of grief over Bhaika village and the surrounding area.
