Doha (Qatar), June 5, 2026, BNN Web Staff: Qatar Airways has announced a major expansion of its services between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, increasing flights between Doha and Dubai to five daily operations in response to growing passenger demand.

The airline said it will gradually raise frequencies on the route connecting Hamad International Airport and Dubai International Airport, taking the total number of weekly flights to 35 during the summer season.

Under the phased expansion plan, the existing two daily services will increase to three daily flights from June 5.

A fourth daily flight will be introduced from June 15, while a fifth daily service will be added later during the summer schedule.

The enhanced operations will be served by the airline’s Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft, offering passengers greater flexibility and connectivity between the two Gulf hubs.

The move is aimed at supporting both business and leisure travel while strengthening regional connectivity between Qatar and the UAE. The additional flights are expected to cater to rising travel demand during the peak summer season.

Qatar Airways has been steadily rebuilding and expanding its Middle East network in recent months. The carrier resumed flights to Dubai and Sharjah in April and restarted services to Abu Dhabi in May as part of its broader regional expansion strategy.

The airline currently operates to more than 20 destinations across the Middle East and plans to continue expanding its global network, targeting connectivity to over 160 destinations worldwide by the end of the summer season.

The latest increase in Dubai services underscores Qatar Airways’ focus on enhancing travel options and reinforcing its position as one of the region’s leading international carriers.
