“You Pig!”: Adelaide Man Films Stranger Allegedly Defecating in Suburban Street – Video Goes Viral

Para Hills, Adelaide – 27 November 2025 (BNN Web Staff)– A furious local resident has captured the bizarre moment he confronted a man who appeared to be squatting and defecating on a residential street in broad daylight, sparking an explosive exchange that has since racked up hundreds of thousands of views online.

Trent Carter was driving through the quiet northern Adelaide suburb of Para Hills when he spotted the man crouched on a grassy verge near homes, pants down.

Footage filmed on Carter’s phone and uploaded to Facebook shows him marching up and shouting:

  • “Brother, what are you doing? What are you doing!?”
  • The man hurriedly pulls up his trousers and replies, “What do you mean?”
  • Carter fires back: “This is Australia. Don’t sh*t on the ground, you pig!”

The man insists he was “just peeing,” prompting an incredulous Carter to retort: “Peeing on the ground? You’re squatting – that’s not how you pee, mate!”

Carter then kicks dirt toward the man’s feet, calls him a “f**king dog,” and storms off.

He posted the 40-second clip with the caption: “Has this become the norm?”

Within hours the video exploded across Australian social media, drawing a mix of outrage, disbelief, and dark humour.

Top comments included:

  • “Send him back to his country to do that sh*t.”
  • “Couldn’t even find a bush. Diabolical.”
  • “Video of the year.”
  • “I’ve laughed at this at least 15 times.”
  • “Absolute filth – no respect yet they demand it.”

The Law in South Australia

Under the Summary Offences Act 1953, deliberately urinating or defecating in a public place (outside a designated toilet) is illegal in South Australia. Offenders can face:

  • An on-the-spot expiation fine (typically $100–$250)
  • A maximum court penalty of around $750

South Australia Police confirmed they are aware of the video and are investigating.

While public urination is often treated with a warning or small fine, openly defecating in a suburban street is considered far more serious and is likely to attract the higher penalties if the man is identified and charged.

As the clip continues to spread, many locals say the incident – however isolated – has left them stunned and angry at what they see as a blatant lack of respect for the community.
